Visa Application

In general, unless a person has the right of abode or right to land in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), he/she requires a visa/entry permit to work, study, establish or join in any business, take up residence or to stay in the HKSAR as a visitor longer than the allowed visa free period.

Invitation Letters

1. The invitation letter will be issued after the successful registration.

2. Your name must be listed exactly as it appears on your passport. Any differences between the name on your passport and the name on your invitation letter or other documentation could lead to a delay and/or denial of your visa. 

3. ICRCV can only issue the Invitation Letter for the conference. No other kind of documentation will be provided for use of visa applications. ICRCV will NOT issue any Letter of Sponsorship or Letter of Guarantee if you are required to do so by the immigration department. It is the participants’ sole responsibility to obtain such documents.

4. ICRCV cannot change the decision of the any country’s embassy/consulate or any other government departments, nor will ICRCV appeal to the embassy/consulate on behalf of the applicant.

5. The registration fee cannot be refunded when the VISA application of individual being denied.

6. It takes around one month for the Embassy to process the VISA application, please register as early as you can to make sure you have enough time.
